Looking for a tranquil, peaceful place? Come to the Quiet Space, in Woodlands Crescent just behind Poundbury Garden Centre.
Here you will find a pleasant and private garden in which to sit and a spacious and peaceful sitting room indoors, if the weather is less than favourable. There is a small library to assist your reflections and our Companions are there, if you wish to talk – though we promise they are equally happy to simply smile a welcome and leave you to your thoughts, if that is your need.
THE QUIET SPACE IS OPEN FROM 10.00AM TO 4.00PM, MONDAY TO FRIDAY.
The facility is provided by The Quiet Space charity set upby the local Christian churches for the benefit of all. No religious affiliation is required, and there is no charge for individuals wishing to use it.
If you don’t want to spend time in the Quiet Room, but would like to explore it, the Companions will be pleased to let you look round and answer any questoions you may have.
